You should be able to count Nick Lewis and about 4 others twice though, and that would even up numbers. Ol' Stormin Norman has been shovelin' soupbeans and cornbread down that boy's gullet no doubt.

The RT Kelly is even bigger. He's 6'6" 305 and shaped like a brick. He's not at all fat. He's a extremely large human being. He looks like he's been fed HGH since birth.

I'm all for Dooley and think he can get it done. Bama was never in this bad a shape though. They always had decent talent on the roster because AL high school talent is so much better than TN. Even when they had reduced scholarships from probation I don't think they got to almost 20 below capacity. It was more like 12 or so short wasn't it? I think they can be decent next year, but it'll be a 2-4 years before they can approach a 10 win type season.

There are 25 more on the roster that shouldn't even have a D1 scholarship. Art Evans being example one. He's got to have nude pictures of Wilcox's wife or something. I have no idea how he's starting before Teauge/Gordon. I'd rather have either of those two instead of him in. I'd start Brewer at CB before Evans.

NCAA cloud hanging over alth. dept. is always a problem. Bama was down to about 70 at one time. Vols have some things to overcome.

    Re: Roll Tide!

I do question why Evans is still used as a cover guy. I thought it was pretty obvious he was getting burnt regularly by the WR's. and I dont get why he was ever 1-1 with Julio.

with Oklahoma going down, Bama has a path to the NC game.

but theres still four tough games left for Bama, including a date with a semi talented guy named kirb or court maybe cam the day after thanksgiving.

if both teams hold serve, the winner of the bama/auburn game plays for a national title.

(if bama does not lose to a LSU team looking for revenge, a coach looking for his signature win (Mullen), and maybe the best team in the nation in Auburn)
